AcroRIP
An entry-level RIP software popular with hobbyist and small-shop DTF printers, especially converted Epson L1800, XP-15000, and ET-8550 setups. AcroRIP handles white-ink channel routing, mirroring, and basic CMYK + white printing for DTF and DTG. It is less feature-rich than Cadlink or PrintFactory but is significantly cheaper and is the most common RIP found in beginner DTF tutorials.

Raster Image Processor software that converts digital designs into printer-ready data. For DTF printing, RIP software controls ink layering, color management, mirroring, and gang sheet layouts. Popular DTF RIP software includes Cadlink Digital Factory, Caldera, Wasatch, and AcroRIP.
A commercial RIP and color-management software suite developed by Cadlink Technology Corporation, widely used in DTF, UV DTF, and DTG production. Cadlink Digital Factory handles white-ink underbase generation, choke and spread controls, ICC profile management, ink-cost estimation, and gang-sheet nesting. It supports Epson and Roland-based DTF printers and is one of the most common RIP packages bundled with mid-range and commercial DTF systems.
Specialized pigment-based ink used in DTF printing to create the opaque white underbase layer. White DTF ink contains titanium dioxide particles that are heavier than colored ink pigments, requiring regular agitation or circulation to prevent settling and clogging.
