What is hand feel?
The tactile sensation of a printed DTF transfer on fabric when touched. A good DTF transfer has a soft hand feel that is barely noticeable through the fabric. DTF leaves a thin, flexible film with a slight raised feel, between sublimation (no hand at all, the dye is in the fiber) and HTV (a noticeable raised vinyl layer); plastisol screen print transfers sit thicker but can be smoother. Hand feel also depends on the garment, which is why smooth ring-spun and combed cotton blanks are popular for DTF.
