Boise Custom Shirt Printing: 20 Local DTF Shops

DTF Database lists twenty print shops across Idaho's Treasure Valley, in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, and Eagle, and every one of them lists direct-to-film (DTF) transfers or DTF printing. That makes the Boise area one of the denser local DTF markets in the directory for its size. The shops fall into two groups: those that sell ready-to-press transfers and gang sheets to people who press their own shirts, and full-service decorators that hand back finished apparel. This guide sorts the list so a buyer can tell which is which.

Two ways to buy DTF in Boise

Buy transfers and press them yourself. A gang sheet is one long sheet of film printed with many designs, cut apart and pressed at home or in a shop. This suits Etsy and boutique sellers, schools and teams with a volunteer and a heat press, and anyone who wants to keep blanks on hand and print on demand. The gang sheet calculator estimates how many designs fit on a sheet. Order finished shirts. A decorator sources the blanks, prints, and presses. This suits a business, team, or event that wants boxes of shirts, and it is where screen printing and embroidery come in. For larger single-design runs, many decorators will recommend screen printing; the DTF vs screen printing comparison explains where each wins.

Shops that sell ready-to-press transfers and gang sheets

These listings name gang sheets, wholesale DTF, or ready-to-press transfers in their product lists:

Smashing Ink Vinyl and Boss Momma Boutique are the two that also list supplies for people pressing at home, such as heat transfer vinyl, sublimation blanks, and heat press supplies.

Full-service decorators that add DTF

These shops list DTF alongside screen printing, embroidery, team apparel, or promotional products:

Several decorators in this group also list gang sheets, so a buyer who wants transfers can ask them too.

Which kind of shop fits the job

• A boutique or online seller restocking designs: a gang sheet shop in the first table. Order a sheet, cut it, and press as orders come in.
• A youth sports team with numbers and names: CBEX Images, T-Zers Shirt Shop, and River Valley Branding each list jersey numbers or stretch athletic transfers.
• A company that wants polos, jackets, and hats with the logo: a full-service decorator that also embroiders, such as Instant Imprints Boise, Trusty Mfg. Co., or Carpenter Screen Printing & Embroidery.
• A band or artist merch run: Rail Tees lists band merchandise and artist prints.
• Cups and tumblers to match the shirts: Boss Momma Boutique lists UV DTF cup wraps.

Before an order, ask each shop four questions: the gang sheet width and price per length, the turnaround, whether pickup is available, and which fabrics the transfers are rated for. Prices and turnaround were not included in these listings, so they need to come from the shop. Our press temperature chart covers the settings for each fabric once the transfers are in hand.
