1. Scale your designs for the contoured cut. A 12"-wide chest design that looks perfect on a unisex Large will extend too close to the side seams on a ladies Large (20" width vs. 24" width). Scale women's chest prints to roughly 80% of your unisex design width as a starting point.

1. Placement differs from unisex. The LST350's shorter body length means your standard placement measurements from the collar will put the design lower relative to the overall shirt. Drop your starting point by about ½" to ¾" compared to unisex placement. Check our Shirt Placement Guide for details.

1. Consider the contour. Women's shirts are tapered at the waist, which means wide, rectangular designs can look slightly distorted when worn. Designs that are taller than they are wide tend to look better on contoured-cut shirts.

1. Smaller pressing pillow. The narrower body of the LST350 (especially XS–M sizes) needs a smaller pressing pillow than you'd use for unisex shirts. Using a too-large pillow will stretch the shirt on the press and can cause uneven adhesion.
