DTF Printing on the ST350LS: Settings & Tips
Performance shirts — including long sleeves — need less heat and less time than cotton. The DTF settings are identical to the short-sleeve ST350 since the fabric construction is the same.

- Watch the sleeve seams. When pressing chest designs on long sleeves, the extra fabric from the sleeves can bunch under your press. Fold sleeves back neatly and use a pressing pillow to create a flat, even surface.
- Sleeve printing placement. If your customer wants logos or text on the sleeve (team name, sponsor, etc.), use a smaller platen or a hat press for consistent pressure. Standard press platens are too wide for most sleeve prints.
- Pre-press is essential. Long sleeves trap more moisture than short sleeves — give the ST350LS a 5-second pre-press to drive out any moisture from the Dry Zone fabric before applying your transfer.
- Same PosiCharge advantage. The dye migration protection applies to the entire garment, including the sleeves. You get the same color-lock benefit whether you're pressing on the chest, back, or sleeve.
- Post-press for 3–5 seconds after peeling to lock the transfer into the polyester fibers.
