Two month-long fundraising campaigns start on Sunday, November 1, 2026: Movember, the global men's health movement, and No-Shave November, a cancer fundraiser now run by Fight Colorectal Cancer. Both ask participants to skip the razor and raise money, both run through Nov. 30, and both produce a steady stream of workplace, team, and family shirt orders in late October.

This guide explains who runs each campaign, what they fund, shirt ideas, the logo rules a print shop should follow, and when to order.

Two campaigns, two organizations

They are often mixed up, but Movember and No-Shave November are separate campaigns run by different organizations.

Movember says it has funded more than AUD $1.8 billion in prevention-focused work. No-Shave November's site suggests participants pledge the $60 to $150 a month that it says people spend on grooming on average.

Shirt ideas

  • Mustache art. Handlebar, chevron, and pencil mustaches are the classic designs. A large mustache across the chest reads from a distance; a small one on the left chest works for office wear.
  • Team shirts. Workplaces, gyms, and running clubs form teams. Team name on the front, member names or a fundraising goal on the back.
  • Progress shirts. "Day 1" and "Day 30" designs, a mustache growth chart, or a fundraising thermometer that the team updates with a marker.
  • Reveal party shirts. End-of-month shave-off parties and fundraising nights in late November.
  • Family and partner shirts. "Proud supporter of this mustache" shirts for partners and kids.
  • Run and walk shirts. Movember's "move" challenge pairs well with running club shirts. See our turkey trot shirt guide for race shirt basics, since many Thanksgiving races fall in the same month.

Logo and name rules

Each campaign's name and logo belong to the organization behind it. A shop should not print the official Movember or No-Shave November logo on shirts it sells without permission, and should not imply that a shirt's sale supports a charity unless the customer has arranged it with that charity.

Safer approaches:

  • Print original mustache art and the team name. Generic phrases such as "mustache month" or "November mustache crew" avoid the official marks.
  • If a team wants the official logo, the team captain can ask the organization for approved artwork and usage rules.
  • If the customer is selling shirts to raise money, put the fundraising details on their store page, not on your shop's listing, and let them handle the donation.

Printing tips

Mustache designs are usually one color, which makes them cheap to gang on a single DTF sheet. A 22-inch-wide gang sheet can hold dozens of left-chest mustaches; our gang sheet optimization guide and gang sheet calculator help plan the layout.

November is fleece season, so many teams want hoodies and crewnecks. DTF Database's press settings chart lists 50/50 cotton-polyester tees at 285 to 295°F for 12 to 15 seconds, and 100% cotton at 300 to 325°F for 10 to 15 seconds. For fleece blank options, see the fleece hoodie season guide.

When to order

Both campaigns start Sunday, Nov. 1. For shirts in hand on day one:

  • Collect sizes and names: by Fri., Oct. 16
  • Order transfers: by Tue., Oct. 20, with standard turnaround and ground shipping
  • Press and deliver: by Fri., Oct. 30

Reveal-party shirts for the last week of November can be ordered in early November, ahead of the Thanksgiving slowdown.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Movember and No-Shave November?

Movember is a global men's health movement focused on mental health, suicide prevention, and prostate and testicular cancer. No-Shave November is a separate campaign run by Fight Colorectal Cancer since 2024 that raises money for cancer research, education, and advocacy. Both run during November.

Not without permission. The Movember name and logo belong to the Movember organization, and No-Shave November's marks belong to its organizers. Shops should print original mustache art and team names, or have the customer request approved artwork from the campaign.

When should a team order No-Shave November shirts?

Order transfers about 10 to 12 days before Nov. 1, so by about Oct. 20, 2026, to have shirts pressed and delivered before the campaign starts. Large teams with many sizes should set an earlier deadline for size lists.

What is a good design for a Movember team shirt?

A bold mustache graphic with the team name on the front and member names or a fundraising goal on the back is the most common layout. One-color designs keep the transfer cost low and look good on heather gray, black, and navy shirts.
