Epson SureColor F370: Specs, Price, Cotton Primer

Epson announced the SureColor F370, a purpose-built 13 x 19 inch dye-sublimation printer, at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas on September 23, 2026. It will be available in November 2026 for $999 MSRP. Epson also introduced a Sublimation Primer for Cotton at $149.95 MSRP, a liquid that the company says enables sublimation on white and light-colored cotton garments. Both ship through authorized Epson partners and the Epson eStore.

SureColor F370 Specs

The figures below come from Epson America's September 23 press release and Epson Canada's F370 product page.

Epson's release says the F370 uses only genuine Epson ink, and that other brands "may not function properly or at all." Budget for Epson T49M bottles rather than third-party refills.

Sublimation Primer for Cotton

Epson describes the primer as a liquid solution for sublimation on white and light-colored cotton and other natural fabrics. Epson presents it alongside the F370 but does not say whether it is limited to that printer.

What Epson has not published yet: the application method, press temperature and time, how many shirts one container covers, cure or dry time, hand feel, and wash durability. Those details decide the cost per shirt and whether it is fit for resale, so wait for the instructions before quoting cotton sublimation jobs to customers.

The primer does not change one rule of sublimation: there is no white ink. Dark and black cotton still need DTF or a vinyl-based method.

Who the F370 Is For

Epson positions the F370 for makers, schools, small businesses, and personalization shops that are new to sublimation. The 13 x 19 inch format covers adult shirt fronts, towels, cutting boards, photo panels, signage, and promotional items. The auto-switching cassette means letter-size mug and tumbler transfers and tabloid shirt transfers can both stay loaded.

For a DTF shop, the F370 is a companion, not a replacement. Sublimation owns white polyester performance wear, hard goods, and all-over prints where DTF leaves hand feel. DTF owns dark cotton. Many shops run both, and our HTV vs sublimation vs DTF comparison lays out which jobs go where.

How It Compares

The closest competitor at this size is Sawgrass. Sawgrass lists SG500 bundles from $699.95 and SG1000 bundles at $1,999.95, and its VersiFlex ink system prints to cotton without a primer on a dedicated printer.
