PRINTING United Expo 2026: DTF Booths and Demos to See

PRINTING United Expo 2026 runs September 23 to 25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, with more than 800 exhibitors, and direct-to-film has become one of the busiest categories on the floor. If you are going to buy, upgrade, or just benchmark your DTF operation, the show is the one place to see production printers, automated powder lines, and new ink chemistry running side by side. Epson: Booth C1945

Epson is bringing its full garment lineup, and it is the one booth where you can compare a hybrid desktop machine against a 64-inch production printer in the same aisle.

• SureColor G6070, the 35-inch dedicated DTF printer.
• SureColor G9070, the 64-inch twin-roll DTF printer with a user-replaceable PrecisionCore Micro TFP head and speeds up to 350 ft²/hr, launched at $24,995. Our G9070 overview has the details.

DuPont Artistri: Fully Automated DTF Lines

DuPont Artistri Digital Printing Solutions will run two fully automated DTF production lines continuously throughout the show, built with Brown Manufacturing Group automation equipment. The pitch is a complete film-to-finished-transfer process with no manual powder handling and no hand-offs between stations.

This is the exhibit to see if you are wondering what the next step above a printer-plus-shaker setup looks like. Watch for:

• How film moves from printer to powder to cure without an operator touching it.

Mimaki: TxF330-800 Live Demonstrations

Mimaki's new TxF330-800 DTF printer, announced September 8, is scheduled for live demonstrations at the Mimaki booth. It is the company's first DTF machine with a 16-cartridge ink system, up to 4 liters of white ink, hot-swappable ink supply, and the new Sky Blue and Pale Pink inks. Mimaki is also bringing three new UV machines (the JFX220-2515 flatbed and the UJF200-6042 and UJF200-3042 compact printers) that matter to shops doing UV DTF stickers and hard goods.

Sun Chemical: Stand C2880

Sun Chemical will show Xennia Jade, a DTF ink range built around a high-opacity white and vibrant color set, alongside its sublimation and pigment textile inks. The company highlights OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT and ZDHC compliance, and it lists a new textile transfer ink for sportswear with high-opacity white and flexibility as a selling point.

Roland DGA and Brother: Recent Launches to Ask About

Two manufacturers made garment-relevant announcements ahead of show season that are worth raising at their booths:

• Roland DGA launched a UV DTF system earlier in 2026 with new UV-DTFA print sheets and UV-DTFB transfer film for its VersaOBJECT and VersaSTUDIO printers, claiming adhesion up to two times better than competing systems and dishwasher-tested results on glass. A Practical DTF Walk Plan

Three days is enough to see everything if you plan by category rather than by aisle:

Day 1: Production printers. Epson (C1945), Mimaki, and any roll-to-roll DTF vendors on your list. Bring a USB drive with two of your own files: a photographic design with skin tones and a fine-line white design on a dark background. Ask each booth to print them so you compare apples to apples. Day 2: Automation and consumables. DuPont's automated lines, Sun Chemical (C2880), and film and powder suppliers. This is where cost per transfer is decided. Day 3: Finishing and hybrids. Questions to Ask at Every DTF Booth

1. What is the white ink cost per liter, and how much white does a typical 22 by 24 inch gang sheet use? White is the consumable that drives DTF cost.
2. Is the printhead user-replaceable, and what does a replacement cost? Head failure is the most common large repair on DTF printers.
3. What speed am I seeing right now, and in which mode? Demo units usually run their fastest mode. Ask for the quality-mode number.
4. What is included in the quoted price? Shaker, dryer, RIP software, training, and installation are often separate line items.
5. Which films and powders are approved? Some warranties are tied to OEM consumables.
6. What is the humidity and temperature spec? DTF white ink is sensitive to shop conditions, which matters if you are in a dry climate or a garage.

Take photos of every printed sample with the booth's name visible. By day three they blur together.
